The City Series We are…
THE SIDEMONEY COMPANY · PHILADELPHIA
Money is the medium. The message is ours.
Sidemoney is an experimental entity built around social commentary and financial literacy — here to confront societal issues, educate, and start conversation using a single narrative: currency. It’s the one language that crosses every border, every class, every block, and the one no one’s taught to read.
We create for the lifestyle, in collections that run from apparel to home — designed to make you feel something, about our consumer and about how currency runs through every part of the world we live in. We don’t treat money as the root of all evil; we treat it as commentary on our nature as humans. The ends of a spectrum are rooted in extremes. Sidemoney lands directly in the center.
We don’t speak to a demographic. We speak to a posture — the one that already knows the difference between the side and the main, and is in the middle of moving it. With poetry, not a megaphone.
Reality can be bent. Possibility is real.
The exit plan is written in sweat. Clock in, clock out, dream on.
They built walls. We drew maps — then build our own.
The side, made the main. The grind, made official.
Locked out of the room. Documenting the table. Building our own.
Rooted in the spirit of hustle culture, Sidemoney embodies a modern-day Robin Hood approach. We explore themes of equity and freedom — delivering raw, unfiltered messages that aren’t easily digestible, but are necessary.
We’re about ownership in an industry that profits off minority-based cultures while shutting those communities out — blocking access to money, talent, and the right to tell their own stories. The apparel is the platform. The conversation is the product.
Sidemoney was never supposed to count — the extra shift, the flip, the grind that keeps the lights on. We clocked it for what it is: the realest economy most people have, and the one the industry profits from while locking its own people out.
We found the voice in 2016 and built it by 2019 — three years reading the room before saying a word. The move is older than us: take ownership back. Money here isn’t the dream; it’s the door. We don’t ask for a seat at the table. We document the table — then build our own.
Revolutionary but never preachy. Streetwise, philosophical, and emotionally intelligent. We speak to the dreamers, doers, builders, hustlers, outsiders — layered with depth, never a lecture.
You control your time, money, future. They don’t.
Power isn’t given, it’s built quietly and daily.
Say it sharp. Make it land. No filler.
Reality can be bent. Possibility is real.
Small moves create big shifts. The world remade from the ground up.
Always for the people. Always with the people.

The symbol. A dollar sign turned on its side, cut seven times — one for each stream of income it takes to get free. Sidemoney, drawn as a mark. The hustle, made official.
Each line is an issuance — its own ticker, its own role, all under the same currency. From the flagship to one-of-ones, every series carries the brand’s thesis through a different angle.
The flagship — a commentary platform that happens to make clothes. Currency as a lens on access, ownership, and class.
Elevated everyday. Clean, minimal pieces that speak through quality and cut, not noise — and the on-ramp into the brand.
The children’s line. Financial literacy made playful — Sidemoney’s educational framework for the next generation.
Home and living goods — the brand off the body.
The collegiate line. Varsity- and HBCU-coded apparel where money, education, and ownership share a campus.
“With golden steps” — a golden passport hidden in the name (à pas dorés / passe-port). The travel line: movement, access, money that crosses borders.
Collaborations and one-of-ones — Foot Locker, the leagues, partner brands. By invitation.
Dollar-sign flexing, get-rich theater — that’s what the category is built on, so no one’s watching when you refuse it. We don’t lean on played-out imagery; we treat currency as a lens, not a symbol of wealth. And a lens on money is a lens on everything — class, access, power, the systems we live in.
That’s the unlock: money is the one theme with no ceiling on what it can say or how it can look. We ground it in the visual language of the institutions that kept us out — the Federal Reserve, the receipt, the municipal form — so the aesthetic draws you in and the meaning shows up later. The design is the question, not the answer.
A sideways dollar sign, cut seven times — one cut for each stream of income on the path to financial independence. The hustle, drawn as a mark.
A handwritten script, lifted from check signatures. The personal nature of money — proof of work, signed by hand. Both the legacy script and the refined v2.
Every Sidemoney piece prints like a receipt. Proof of the work, the trade, the value exchanged. The aesthetic of every transaction we ever made.
$SMNYCO, $SMNY, $SMCO, $SMU, $SME — stock-inspired identifiers that turn the brand into its own market. SMXX stamps authenticity.
We refuse the cliché of currency imagery. Instead — fine detail: guilloche patterns, gradients, textures, abstract interpretation. Currency as a medium for storytelling.
“Stories told in the world’s true language.” A sans-serif corporate logotype for the formal end of the brand. The headline that anchors everything.

This note authenticates a Sidemoney brand experience. Issued and guaranteed by The Sidemoney Company. Stories told in the world’s true language.
